2nd Birthday Hamper Giveaway

This week, Highland Hiddle turns two. To celebrate we are giving away a hamper with a retail value of over £400. To be in for a chance to win this fantastic prize, all you need to do is like or comment on our social media posts about the hamper between Monday 15th August until 4pm (BST) on Sunday 21st August*. We'll then draw the winner at random and announce live on social media on that same evening.

Over twenty of our makers have contributed one of their exquisite handmade products to our birthday hamper and here is an overview of them.

Firstly, we have some gorgeous jewellery:

Sarah Kay ArtsSecondly, for a bit of pampering the hamper includes:

  • A fruity mini travel set by Sunart Soap company which includes a shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion.
  • A bog myrtle and calendula luxury soap by Apothecary's Garden, the properties of which help calm skin blemishes and rosacea.

Then, from our homeware department we have:

  • A beautiful wooden chopping board hand-turned by Gary Thomson and complete with Highland Hiddle branding.
  • A set of four coasters by Drifted into Design based on her textile artwork.
  • Two Skyelight candles in the divine scents of Scottish Bluebell and Highland Rose.
  • An adorable elephant fused glass decoration by A Touch of Glass Studio.
  • Ian Williams has contributed a black ceramic thumb pot which makes the ideal salt pot (a box of Isle of Skye Salt Company also included).
  • Dave of Drifting Imagination has made three lovely pieces including a driftwood scene and cute diorama in a recycled sardine tin.
  • Two packs of beeswax wraps by DoubleEweBeeDesigns.
  • A lovely decorative spoon featuring real flowers set in resin by Sarah Kay Arts.

There are two pieces of artwork, both ready to hang

  • A matte aluminium print of a stunning photograph of Cluanie in Autumn taken by Gill Williams
  • A canvas print of two calves by Beverly Madley.

And lots of clothing accessories:

Last but not least, the hamper includes a selection of greetings cards:

  • Two brightly coloured cards featuring paintings by artist Debbie Ross of a sunset and flowers.
  • A set of four cards based on original textile designs by Drifted into Design
  • A pack of five cards featuring painting from around the coast by artist, Kevin O'Neill
  • Six cards featuring original collagraph artwork by Gill Thompson.

One lucky winner will win all this in the draw on Sunday 21st August. To make sure you are in with a chance to win the hamper, follow us on social media Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter to ensure you see our posts. Then like or comment on our hamper posts to gain entry to the competition and be in with a chance of winning.

*Terms and conditions - to be eligible to win the hamper entrants must like or comment on a social post about the hamper giveaway between 9am (BST) on 15th August 2022 and 4pm (BST) on 21st August 2022. One winner will be chosen at random by Highland Hiddle from all the entrants and will win the contents of the hamper as described in this blog post (no cash or other alternatives are available). There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary. Entrants must be 18 or over. Delivery of the hamper to any UK address is free. The winner will be notified by direct message on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter (whichever the entry route) and must supply a valid postal address. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement. The winner agrees to the use of his/her/their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
