Hi, I'm Gary I live on the Black Isle looking out to the Cromarty Firth and Ben Wyvis.

I first started woodturning in my spare time in my garage at home 16 years ago. I now use a larger workshop which I built myself in my garden.

I make a variety of products – including pens, platters, vases and segmented work. All are made from windblown trees and recycled wood – including beach, oak, sycamore, yew and others.

I undertake each stage of the work myself – from finding the wood, shaping and drying, right through to finishing the product.

I take great pride in every single item that I make – and I hope you will enjoy using them as much as I did making them.

I have several products by this maker. The butterfly coasters are a massive talking point and much admired. The bowls are exquisite and so beautiful. I highly recommend these products and will be putting in my Christmas present orders soon!
