Kevin O'Neill

Hi, I’m Kevin. I started to develop my interest in painting when nearing retirement and attending evening classes in Marple and joining the local art society.

Early retirement in 2014 led to a move to Brittany and inspiration from two local art teachers. We returned to the UK, living and even painting, for a while on a narrow boat in Derbyshire and attending a variety of new art workshops.

Wanting to settle down, as all pensioners should, we moved to a small cottage in Tain in the Scottish Highlands, an area which we love. This has given me the chance to learn and develop my artwork, become involved in local art groups and to start selling some of the results. I have had cards and prints professionally made from many of my paintings. I also started painting brooches, magnets and clocks to sell at craft fairs.

My inspiration comes from the beautiful area we live in, its landscapes, townscapes and wildlife and I continue to try out new and different approaches to my work. I have gradually started exploring different mediums and also moving to more abstract works.

Items are posted using Royal Mail standard delivery and should be received within 3 - 5 days. International customers will have a longer delivery time. Delivery is per item with this seller. Please note, this seller does not dispatch to Europe.

Just received my little robin brooch to go in my sisters Advent Calendar I am making for her for 2023. The wee robin is absolutely beautiful. Whenever we see a robin we always say Mum and Dad are around, so it will be a perfect gift. Prompt delivery and safely packaged. Thank you ❤

A very tasteful and useful item which is a perfect size for posting abroad. I haven’t opened it as it was bought as a gift but the images I have seen are beautiful. Thank you for dispatching so quickly.
