Peerie Nutmeg Neckwarmer

This colourful, hand-framed neckwarmer, in beautiful, soft lambswool, is ideal for keeping out the draughts when you don't want the bulk of a large scarf. The multicoloured 'Peerie' design is influenced by the wee patterns that are between the main motifs in Fair Isle knitting and the reverse pattern is based on the traditional 'Paisley' shape. Neckwarmers are fastened with an unusual wood, ceramic or handmade button.

Colourway is nutmeg/hyacinth: soft mid-brown main colour with Paisley design in mauve and green, blue and purple Peerie patterns. Wool is very breathable, which means less frequent washing. However, when it does need to be washed, it should be hand washed in tepid water, given a quick spin or rolled in a towel to remove excess water, and dried flat. It can be pressed with a damp cloth and gently reshaped, if necessary. Given this wee bit of care, you will be able to enjoy wearing your Whinnyfold Knitwear clothing for years to come.
