Celtic Carrot

Hi I'm Sarah. Celtic Carrot is my creative venture.

I studied ceramics at Gray's School of Art and spent the last few years finding inspiration from the natural world. By experimenting with oxides, glazes and lustres, I transform porcelain into fun and colourful homeware. Each piece is individually made and decorated before going through four firings, up to 1260*C. Ceramics is a slow process with each piece taking a minimum of a week to make from start to finish but opening the kiln is always very exciting!

I have also developed my sewing skills after making a mobile for my son. My felt pieces are whimsical, yet delicate and can be personalised on request.

Art is to be enjoyed and I take delight in creating playful and unique pieces aimed to make you smile.

Shipping policy

Items are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class in the UK and customers should receive their items in 7 working days. International postage is via Royal Mail International Standard and will take at least 7-10 days, but it may take longer. NB. This maker does not ship to the EU and Ireland. Postage costs are per order with this maker.
