Corrachree is a hill, central to the Howe of Cromar, and a beautiful mansion house. This design has drawn on a variety of traditional, diamond-shaped patterns, all within an overall lattice design. The borders again use traditional, geometric patterns in subtle shades. This unisex jumper has been knitted in a slightly longer length (73cm) than standard, making it very suitable for men who would like an original jumper that’s a wee bit different from mainstream woollies. However, it is available to order to suit your requirements. It is knitted in a mixture of Shetland and lambswool which give warmth and durability. As each item is individually made on a vintage hand-frame knitting machine, colours and sizes may vary slightly but the overall effect is similar.
Wool is very breathable, which means less frequent washing. However, when it does need to be washed, it should be hand washed in tepid water, given a quick spin or rolled in a towel to remove excess water, and dried flat. It can be pressed with a damp cloth and gently reshaped, if necessary. Given this wee bit of care, you will be able to enjoy wearing your Whinnyfold Knitwear clothing for years to come. Colourway: Clipper/Oatmilk. The main colour is a mid-blue with a natural beige contrast. The border has beige and shades of blue. This design can also be knitted up as a longer length 72cm (please specify LONG on the order)
Made to order items will take an extra 4 weeks to make. If you are buying for a Christmas present please order before 18th November to be certain of it being made and sent in time.
