Shetland Sand Soap Dish
A handmade soap dish containing real Shetland sand collected from three different locations — West Sandwick in Yell, Red Ayre and Bains Beach in Lerwick.
The three sands have their own naturally different colours and textures, and are combined together in each dish, creating a beautiful, subtly speckled finish. As the sand is completely natural, no two soap dishes will ever be exactly the same.
Practical as well as beautiful, the raised design allows water to drain away from your soap, helping it dry between uses.
