Hi, I'm Gemma, part of the family run Wester Ross Roasters. Life in beautiful Wester Ross is about spectacular walks, amazing wildlife and the ever-changing weather. It’s also about the taste of Wester Ross Coffee. We are a family run micro coffee roaster, based on the shores of Loch Ewe, specialising in roasting high quality, responsibly sourced, single origin coffee. We believe if you care about quality you have sustainability. We care about the planet and we care to remind you how beautiful it is and how good coffee can be! We support our commitment to sustainability by:

• Only using coffee beans from farms which follow organic practices. Coffee is widely recognised as one of the most heavily pesticide sprayed crops in the world, so we have made the conscious decision to only use organic beans.
• Using ethically and responsibly sourced coffee beans from smallholder farms and where possible, beans from women coffee farmers, to help support gender equality. We believe in a transparent and traceable supply chain.
• Only roasting in small batches, which helps to minimise waste.
• Utilising a more environmentally friendly coffee roaster.
• Using fully recyclable bags and packaging.

Our single origin coffee is roasted no further than Medium Dark, not only to create a balanced flavour profile, but also to help maintain the health benefits of the coffee which are lost if the roast is taken too far. Ultimately, we aim to make great tasting coffee that is healthy, ethical, sustainable and fair.
