Skye Tartan Crafts

Hi, my name is Ula, and I founded Skye Tartan Crafts with my husband Baz in the summer of 2021 when we were living in Birmingham in the West Midlands. I’m a teacher, vocal workshop leader and choral conductor by profession, but I’ve long had a passion for card-making and scrapbooking.

During lockdown, I decided to combine my love of crafting with another passion of mine… the Isle of Skye! Every time I visit this beautiful place (Baz and I are lucky enough to own a holiday cottage near Dunvegan), I’m inspired by everything I see; from the dramatic scenery and ever-changing weather to the cute Highland coos and magnificent eagles.

I use genuine Isle of Skye tartan in all my artwork. The colours of the tartan depict the scenery of the Misty Isle, and my designs often remind people of happy memories holidaying in this special place.

Baz and I now live in North Kessock, a lovely village just outside Inverness. Being in the heart of the Scottish Highlands is a dream come true for both of us and I’m absolutely in the right place to develop lots of new ideas which I can’t wait to share with you!

Shipping policy

Orders will be sent via Royal Mail second class post and normally take 3-5 business days to arrive. International orders will take longer and likely over 10 business days. Shipping costs are per order with this seller.
