Shaggy Felted Full Fleece

A special felted full fleece, very textured and can be used to add style and comfort to floors, beds or sofas. Shaggy is one of the few sheep on the farm who give a fleece suitable for this, so it is a very limited edition from the Achpopuli Flock! Though Shaggy is a Shetland X Blue Faced Leicester, her fleece is more reminiscent of a hill sheep. She has been purely pasture-fed her whole life, converting all the vegetation she eats into energy and fibre - and this sequestered carbon, wonder product will keep you cosy for years to come!

This is just wool, Shaggy’s fleece with a wet felted backing from flock friend Cindy - felted using eco-soap and lots of elbow grease, as sustainable as it gets! Suitable as a light use rug, some shedding will occur.
