Festivities Inspired Scarf

This lightweight scarf will keep the wearer warm without adding bulk to an outfit.

This adult size scarf was woven on a rigid heddle loom from 100% Aran British wool in green together with novelty yarns combining acrylic and metallic fibres in blue, green, red, purple and orange with added sparkle. The colours used are reminiscent of Christmas wrapping paper. The scarf is woven in a basic smooth tabby weave and Leno technique, which is a lovely open structure. It is woven in a long rectangle measuring 51 1/2" x 8 1/4" (131 cm x 21 cm) allowing for multiple styling options. The additional scarf terminals are plied and knotted fringe measuring 4" / 10cm.
