Hi, I'm Liz. I was born in Perth, in the heart of Scotland and the Gateway to the Highlands. I still live in the house that my parents moved to when I was just two years old.

My creative journey started at school when I first learned to knit and my mum later taught me how to crochet. I haven't stopped stitching since.

My inspiration is often taken from the beautiful scenery surrounding me, but my style has evolved. While the Scottish landscape is inspiring, some of my latest range of jumpers are definitely not made to blend in, but they are designed to jump out! I love bold, joyful, and vibrant statements that bring a bit of extra colour into the world. I enjoy sourcing my materials from car boot sales and charity shops, hunting down rare finds and beautiful yarns that have now been discontinued. Working with these treasure trove materials, is not only good for the environment, but it also means that every single piece I make is entirely unique and individual; so much so that I often give them their own names!

My absolute favourite place to knit or crochet is at the beach right after I’ve been swimming or bodyboarding in the sea, or in my beautiful garden.

Involving others in my creations has been fun. I have fond memories of family camping holidays in the Highlands of Scotland by Arisaig, where I made a blanket and my sisters, their families, and my own three children each picked out colours from my wool stash, for me to create a granny square of their choice. (You can actually see the resulting blanket in my profile picture!)

Creativity completely runs in the family, though my husband isn’t quite as artistic. He did sweetly make me a Valentine’s card this year, but, ssh, don't tell him, it looked exactly like the ones my kids used to bring home from nursery!

Yet another gorgeous phone sock ( have bought many!) Beautiful colours and lovely quality and keeps my phone safe and free from scratches - plus makes it so easy to find in my handbag. Love it!
