Hi, I’m Kenny. I moved to Muir of Ord about 18 years ago from East Kilbride.

I previously worked as a Maintenance Engineer in various industries before retiring in early 2021.

At this stage I took up woodworking as a hobby and found it both relaxing and rewarding as wood is such a tactile material. I am entirely self-taught and still get great pleasure from seeing how each piece turns out, especially how it comes to life as the finish is applied.

I make items for the home, which hopefully are both practical and pleasing to the eye. I use various hardwoods and recycled whisky barrels. I source my timber as off-cuts from various saw-mills and also from wind-blown trees.
