Bugs Head Warmer

A hand-knitted headband with Bugs’ fleece hand-felted to it for extra warmth - a sure way to keep your head and ears toasty! Bugs is a Shetland X BFL ewe with gorgeous soft curls, and was part of Katharine's starter flock. She is quite shy (though much less wild than she once was), always keen for food, and a great mum. This fleece is from her less curly sides, and felted onto the knitted band with the clipped side on show. The yarn is from West Yorkshire Spinners (British Wool). Katharine's flock are purely pasture-fed, converting all the vegetation they eat into energy and fibre - and this sequestered carbon, wonder product will keep you cosy for years to come!
