Bugs Cuffs

Hand knitted cuffs using yarn from Achpopuli Flock Shetlands (hand-dyed with plants by Loch Ness Knitting) and West Yorkshire Spinners. Finished off with a handcrafted curly cuff from Bugs' fleece - good for warmth and beauty. Bugs is a Shetland X BFL ewe with gorgeous soft curls, and was part of the farm's starter flock. She is quite shy (though much less wild than she once was), always keen for food, and a great mum. This fleece is from her less curly sides, and felted onto the knitted cuffs with curly tendrils extending over the hands. Katharine's flock are purely pasture-fed, converting all the vegetation they eat into energy and fibre - and this sequestered carbon, wonder product will keep you cosy for years to come!
