Oh for the Love of Fibre

Hi I'm Agnes. I was born and raised in Poland but completely fell in love with the Highlands, putting down by my roots and raising my family here.

Since a young age I have been involved with fibre art and crafting. I love nature and this is where a lot of my inspiration comes from.

Sustainability is equally important to me and I put a lot of thought into my crafts. I use wool from local farmers will full traceability sometimes back to individual sheep and their story, but always the farm and flock. I process my products by hand from the raw fleece to the finished article, using little to no electricity and rain or river water for washing. The dyes I use are natural, made using responsibly foraged organic dyes. Most of my items just use wool, occasionally I will add in other natural and sustainable fibres.

I use a variety of techniques but my main two are felting and weaving to make a range of arts and crafts.
