My Celtic Knot
Hi, I'm Teri, an artist, wife and mother living near the beautiful Moray Coast of Scotland.
Mostly inspired by my love of nature, I find myself drawn (pun intended!) to doodling all things flora and fauna whether they are realistic sketches and paintings, or more abstract designs like the Celtic Knot influenced pieces here in this shop. I like to paint my ‘normal’ art with watercolours, but my Celtic Knot designs are all coloured using digital technology (Photoshop).
More recently I started dabbling in the craft of jewellery making, and have become addicted to this as well, ha-ha!! And of course, I also like to add a Celtic Knot element to my jewellery, if the piece will allow it!
I obtained a national diploma in graphic design many years ago now, worked in newspapers and magazines before embarking on a career in pub management with the husband. After migrating northwards from our original Gloucestershire home, I now live here in bonny Scotland with my family, working locally in the village shop, as well as running my own art and jewellery making business from home.
