A traditional Mauritian festive dish that has a rich and opulent flavour. The best way to enjoy a kalia is when it is slow cooked, and with the addition of yoghurt and almonds, it will have a rich and unique flavour. It has no turmeric in it and has more of a light brown colour.
Ingredients : Cumin, Cinnamon, Ginger, Fennel, Garlic, Green Cardamom, Black Cardamom, Peppercorn, Cloves, Salt, Nutmeg.
Free from artificial colours and flavourings. Gluten free
